Angama Mara is wound on rocky outcrops in the Siria escarpment, making it appear suspended in the air. The facility location has one of the best aerial views of the Mara plains, which are alluringly spread out in the lowlands.
Location
Angama Mara is just 6 hrs drive from Nairobi. The Angama airstrip is one of the best private airfields in Masai Mara, offering daily charter flights from Nairobi, the capital. You can also reach Angama Mara through Serena Airstrip, which is about a 30-minute drive from the facility and the busiest Airstrip in Greater Mara, operating scheduled flights from different locations in Kenya. The Mara Conservancy Oloololo gate is just 10 minutes from the facility.
