Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Transfer to Southern Serengeti

Arrive at Arusha Airport and meet your guide for transfer to the southern Serengeti, either via flight or scenic drive with en-route wildlife spotting. Arrive at Songa Migrational Camp and enjoy your first afternoon game drive among the Maswa Mbono plains. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2: Full Day in Maswa Mbono

Spend the day exploring the Maswa Mbono calving grounds, witnessing wildebeest giving birth and predators in action. Full-day game drives and photography opportunities across open plains, riverine areas, and rolling hills. Picnic lunch in the wild. Return to Songa Migrational Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Southern Serengeti Migration Viewing

Track the herds as they move through the southern Serengeti, exploring additional calving areas and surrounding savannah. Witness dramatic predator-prey interactions and the energy of the migration in a quieter, less crowded sector. Dinner and overnight at Songa Migrational Camp.

Day 4: Full Day Southern Serengeti Exploration

Explore the southern Serengeti migration route and calving grounds on full-day game drives. Observe concentrated herds and predator activity, with plenty of opportunities for photography. Enjoy another picnic lunch in the wild. Return to camp for your final night at Songa Migrational Camp.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive & Departure

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the southern Serengeti before checking out of Songa Migrational Camp. Transfer to Arusha Airport or continue by road for onward travel, concluding your unforgettable calving season safari.
