Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Meet your driver-guide in Entebbe or Kampala and begin your scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You’ll pass through lush countryside, traditional villages, and beautiful crater lakes. Stop for lunch along the way and arrive at your lodge in time to relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 2: Game Drive & Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel

After breakfast, head out for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Look out for lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelope, and possibly leopards. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, home to one of Africa’s highest concentrations of hippos and a variety of bird species.

Day 3: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via Ishasha Sector

Depart Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector, known for its famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a short game drive through Ishasha before continuing to Bwindi. Arrive in the afternoon and settle into your forest lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your gorilla trek. Hike through dense rainforest with an expert guide to locate a habituated gorilla family. Spend one unforgettable hour observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Optional Batwa cultural visit in the evening.
